3. Development Indicators for Colombian Film Industry
- Nearly 11 million dollars were approved for 2013
- From 2004 to 2012, a total of 63 million dollars were approved by the FDC for development of the national film industry.
- A total of $13.49 million pesos in production grants were awarded in 2013, $10.13 million of which were awarded through competitions.
- The FDC has awarded $8.3 million pesos yearly since 2004 for national film preservation.
- Since 2004, a total of $6.7 billion pesos have gone to training programs.
- The number of projects accessing tax incentives fell by 35% over the previous year.
- $60 million dollars in tax incentives have been awarded since 2004.
- 107 projects benefited between 2004 and 2012, some of which were awarded their certification in other years.
