First Colombian films to be released in 2025

The Colombian-Panamanian co-production Tumbadores, directed by María Isabel Burnes, follows a woman immersed in a dangerous game when her father, the leader of a front business, is arrested. Empareja2, by Ángel Manuel Ayllón, is a comedy-acting show starring comedian José Ordóñez. Both productions are in theaters.

Colombia, a destination for international audiovisual production

Netflix's Cien años de soledad series has put the country even more in front of the eyes of foreign studios and producers, as it is a testament to the professionalization and continuous development of the local audiovisual industry. The production has generated significant investment and received the CINA incentive, a tax tool under Law 1556 that has already attracted more than 130 international productions.

The most feared skin is released

Written and directed by Joel Calero, it arrives in theaters on December 19. The story centers on the journey of Alejandra, who returns to Peru after 20 years. Upon her return, she learns that the father who abandoned her is still alive, after having been a subversive militant.
