Founding partner and General Director of HABANERO FILM SALES, a distributor based in Brazil that operates as a sales agent for Latin American and Caribbean films for the international market. With more than 30 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, he participated in the international launch of important Latin American film titles, among others: Fresa y chocolate, Madame Satã, Ônibus 174, Cinco días sin Nora, Juan de los Muertos, Pescador, Las analfabetas, Cuatro Lunas, El Patrón, Santa y Andrés,La última tarde y Vicenta B entre otros. He was also in charge of the world relaunch of the restored work of Glauber Rocha. He has participated as a jury, project evaluator, panelist and advisor to several festivals, competitions and events in the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Germany, Panama, Puerto Rico, Spain, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Trinidad and Tobago.
