SOLA is a modern post-terror fable that feeds off of German Expressionism. It tells the story of María, confined with her little son Ramiro in an apartment in Barcelona. Victim of gender-based violence, María suffers the traumas of the attacks suffered, the probable return of her violent husband, a social worker who threatens to take the child from her. And while she sees her neighbors through the windows, she lives the lives of others as the only communication with the outside, without realizing that a neighbor is stalking her in turn. Maria's maternal instinct will be able to protect her and her son from all threats except her own madness.
