While the Mirage space telescope observes impassively among fractals and cellular granules, how every second stars are born and die in the universe, it also warns Elián on earth, a middle-aged delivery guy, who tries to survive being abandoned by his wife, while his life is falling apart on a planet that seems to be succumbing to a pandemic of biblical dimensions. In this delirious road movie, on bicycles and space-time travel between the concrete jungle and ancient pictograms of Guaviare, we will follow Elián who, overwhelmed by divorce papers, jobless, with a sick itch, clinging to his sister, to placebos, to creams and to a call center psychologists, feels that this really is the end of the world. The lives of human beings are not what they appear to be. The matrix is cracking every moment and what we call crisis is the beginning of something totally new.
