After a thousand days of a civil war in Colombia in 1902, the revolutionary soldier Alfredo Duarte Amado receives a telegram with the news of the pregnancy of his brother's wife. Knowing that the war is over, Alfredo convince an amateur photographer to accompany him in order to find his brother, not knowing that the photographer is also looking for the man who killed his father.
