The Cartagena International Film Festival - FICCI is a socially-oriented and free of charge film event that annually reads the circumstances of the country and the world to develop a cultural encounter around free expression, the construction of democracy and the artistic, conceptual and academic exchange of cinema and the audiovisual arts. Founded in 1960, FICCI is the oldest film festival in Latin America and throughout its history has been characterized by hosting and promoting the innovation and renewal of the dramaturgy and cinematographic calligraphy of Ibero-America and the world. In 2024, the festival will celebrate its 63rd edition from April 16 to 21.
