Legally created in 2016, Chicamocha Films SAS is a young production company with offices in the cities of Bucaramanga and Bogotá. The company's filmography includes titles such as the world premiere short film Naranjas Clermont Ferrand 2014, jury prize in Palm Springs and best Latin American short film in Mar del Plata.
Also, the fiction short film El Embudo, world premiere at the 2015 Krakow Film Festival and national premiere at FICCI 55; and the short documentary Cien Años más Viejo, premiere for the United States at the Chicago Latino Film Festival 2016 and winner of the award for best short film at the Colombian Film Festival in New York 2016. Winner on several occasions and categories of the Fund for Film Development from Colombia.
Currently, the company is working on the development of the platform fiction series BogTown together with the North American writer Mark Litwicky, in the post-production of the fiction feature film Perros de Niebla and in the pre-production of the fiction feature film Tokyo por Siempre.
In addition to producing films, the company works in two lines of business that complement creative work: Boutique Rental of Digital Cinema equipment and Sales Agent of short films for movie theaters in the Colombian market.
