Karol Muñoz is an audiovisual producer since 2008. She is co-founder of Rara Colectivo Audiovisual in Medellín, where she participated as producer and director of several short films. She has worked as a producer in film festivals in the city, including the Colombian Film Festival of Medellin, Santa Fe de Antioquia Film Festival, DocsBarcelona+Medellin and Trama Fest. Co-creator of the audiovisual memory festival MAMUT, which has been held since 2016. She participated in the promotional stages of the films Los días de la ballena by Catalina Arroyave, Litigante by Franco Lolli and El segundo entierro de Alejandrino by Raúl Soto. In 2019 she participated in the School of Film Preservation and Restoration at the Universidad Autónoma de México, Cineteca Di Bologna, FIAF and L'immagine Ritrovata.Producer of the documentary Montaña invisible in post-production and is currently the coordinator of Promotion and Training of the Film Commission of Medellin.
