FIDELIO FILMS

An independent production company based in Bogota, Mexico City, Toronto and Zurich. Our approach to storytelling focused on modern-day cross-cultural narratives has taken our projects to audiences worldwide. We have co-produced and co-developed content in Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Argentina, Denmark, Lebanon, Germany, France, and Cuba.
Their first feature “Copenhagen” won the Audience Award at Slamdance and the Grand Jury Award at Florida Film Festival and “Candelaria”, directed by Jhonny Hendrix, picked up the top Prize in Venice Days 2017. “The Night of the Beast” is currently in post-production. The film will be presented at the 2020 Cannes Marché du Film. It’s handled by M-Appeal. Fidelio's latest production is Ruido Capital a TV series for Movistar Play released in 2020. Their next features on their slate are “A Few Days in the Sun”, “The Life and Death of Espíritu Perdomo” and “Memento Mori”, project supported by FDC Proimagenes Colombia Fund. “Tenebris,” an original TV horror series, is currently in development.
