LA SELVA CINE is a new production company based in Medellín, Colombia. A space where we want to support the voices of authors and projects which have the artistic value, and the questions that really move us.
Owned by three friends with an important and diverse background in the Film industry.
Laura Mora director of “Matar a Jesús” (2017) Selected in more than 30 international festivals and winner of more than 25 awards, including the Eroski award and a special mention for new directors at the San Sebastián Film Festival 2017. She´s Currently preparing to shoot her new feature film “Los reyes del mundo”, produced by Ciudad Lunar (“Embrace of the Serpent” - “Bird of passage”) in association with La Selva Cine.
Daniela Abad, director of the documentaries “Letter to a shadow” and “The Smiling Lombana”, Opening film at the  FICCI 2018, winner of the audience award at the 2019 Toulouse Latino Film festival. Her Shortfilm “La Cama” produced by la Selva  recentey finished post production. She´s currently developing her first feature Film.
Mirlanda Torres, since 2004 Mirlanda has been part of the production department of several projects, in positions ranging from field production to Executive Production of films such as: “Perro come Perro”, “La Sangre y la Lluvia”, “Contracorriente " “Manos sucias"," Alias María" among others.
