Thanks to the initiative of several representatives of Colombian audiovisual industry, film exhibitors, distributors and producers have joined forces with leading public institutions and the private sector to organize the Bogota International Film Festival.
This festival aims to showcase young spirit risky films featuring new trends, in response to the audience of thousands of young people demanding more and better films. Therefore, extensive work in education and development of new audiences will be carried out with students of schools in the city. Thus, it is a privilege to have such a well qualified internationally recognized programming team selecting the films of this 6th edition.

Gracias a la iniciativa de varios representantes de la industria audiovisual colombiana, expositores, distribuidores y productores de cine se han unido a las principales instituciones públicas y al sector privado para organizar el Bogotá International Film Festival-BIFF.
Este festival tiene como objetivo mostrar películas de espíritu joven y arriesgado con las nuevas tendencias, en respuesta al público de miles de jóvenes que demandan más y mejores películas. Por ello, se llevará a cabo un extenso trabajo en educación y desarrollo de nuevos públicos con alumnos de colegios de la ciudad. Por ello, es un privilegio contar con un equipo de programación tan cualificado y reconocido internacionalmente seleccionando las películas de esta 6ª edición.
