"Back to the sea of my deceased" is a road movie where Chico (11) and his grandmother Ismelda (71), mounted on a pulled cart through the desert of the Colombian Guajira to bury the bones of their mother Sara. The old woman is losing the memory in the course of the trip and is entering a crazy reality. Chico discovers that the occurrences of his grandmother are real and he is immersed in the mythical reality that he has refused to live.
