Pathos Audiovisual is a production company dedicated to cinema and digital content. Founded in 2012, it has produced two documentary feature films premiered in commercial venues and at international festivals: Don Ca and Un asunto de tierras. It also produced Cesó la horrible noche, which won, among others, best short film at the Bogoshorts festival. Pathos Audiovisual has also entered the field of fiction by co-producing the film Kairós, tiempo oportuno directed by Nicolás Buenaventura and shot in 2016 in Cali. This film won the Cinema Du Monde Award as well as the GAN Foundation Award.
In 2017 it published Reconstrucción, a transmedia project composed of a graphic adventure videogame about the Colombian conflict, six documentary shorts, a comic, a web portal and research into the power of videogame to transform perceptions and behaviors. This project was supported by the German Cooperation Agency GIZ and is available at Google Play Store and App Store.
Currently Pathos is in the development phase of several feature films, both fiction and documentary, including Bridges Over the Sea, as well as preparing for the second season of Reconstrucción.
