Synopsis

Jairo Mora wakes up to discover that his neighbor, Omar Rincon, is about to jump from a window. Omar’s screams manage to call upon the attention of everyone else in the building. The lonely retired Ramiro; Nidia, a run-down prostitute; Mireya, a single mother and a couple of newlyweds, among others, stare at the man who has decided to take his life. Through Omar’s complaints they all realize that their lives are just as miserable as his. A cup of coffee and a packed breakfast are enough to soothe Omar’s suicidal tendencies. But as time goes by, Jairo sees himself reflected in his neighbor’s conflicts, as his own life begins to crumble.
