Synopsis
Defective is about the loss of personal identity and what leads us to adopt conducts without question. In a mechanized environment, a sudden outburst of “art, sensibility and originality” threatens the control systems. This individuality is frowned upon and seen as a defect, which must be eliminated at all cost to preserve an established order.
