Synopsis

Following the steps of the ethnobotanist Richard Evans Schultes, as described on a travel diary from Mitú to the Apaporis river, the millenary secrets of how to revive the dead are revealed. A documentary that questions the displacement of war to the indigenous communities; of how communities are besieged by the death and disappearance of their language and culture, in spite of the ongoing struggle by their shamans to combat, through rites and sacred potions, the onslaught of malignant spirits.
