Synopsis

After capturing one of the country’s most wanted delinquents, Lieutenant Rudas is rewarded with a transfer to San Javier county to perform a mission: to capture Alvaro Salcedo, a local criminal legend. What starts as a routine assignment, becomes an obsession for the Lieutenant. After three years of searching, a telegram informs him that the mission is over: Salcedo has been captured. Meeting his nemesis face to face, becomes a revelation for Rudas: what could have been a triumph, has slowly become an irritating predicament. To conciliate his military pride with his nagging conscience, the officer finds a solution so unexpected that it shocks everybody, even Salcedo.
