Synopsis

After 40 years of documenting an alienated and discriminated Colombia, filmmaker Marta Rodríguez reexamines her stance on history by rewriting the story of ethnocide as seen through the lens of the collective memory of the people. This is a journey through the life of a woman who has closely followed the massacre, forced displacement and segregation of ethnic minorities throughout history. This documentary shows how resistance is born from the need to uphold the culture and land of communities threatened by extermination, and stands as a tribute to those who gave their lives in the process.
