Edgar and Joanna work at a liquor store owned by Joanna’s husband, Hernando. She despises him, and thus convinces Jairo, her lover, to rob the store so they can run Hawai together. However, when the day of the heist comes, events turn out quite differently than planned, revealing a series of unknown relationships between the characters that can only lead to a tragic denouement.
