Synopsis
Ana falls in love with Flavio, who abandoned a military career because he didn’t want to risk having to kill someone, even in self-defense. When total war is declared, Flavio and Ana’s other Friends are recruited to fight; except for Esteban, Ana’s brother, who goes AWOL and flees abroad, the other members of his punk rock band go to the war, and Ana must wait for them in the city, surrounded by planes, missiles, and explosions. Ana’s Diary is an animated film that tells the story of a group of young people caught up in a conflict that has penetrated urban life. It is the portrait of a generation that, despite everything, continues with their daily lives, their studies, and their fun, friends, and loves. In short, Ana’s Diary is a story about the hopes that arise even in moments of upheaval or when survival becomes more uncertain.
