Synopsis

Norma and Cachita are 69 years old and have been a couple for the last 30. Norma and Cachita are the first female couple to wed, by the same sex marriage law in Latinamerica. Laura and Nadina are taking on the difficult task of realising their first film. “Together” is a film which portrays the intimacy, the everyday life in this marriage and their wish to return to Colombia, where it all began.  But also the challenges the directors face, as characters in search of a way to approach homosexuality, avoiding stereotypes. An exchange of voices, cultures and generations; about love at different ages, the liberty and need to rebel rules, in cinema as much as in life.
