Synopsis
Chocó is one of the world’s richest regions in natural resources. Paulina is as fertile as this land. Mother of 26 children, midwife and artist; a woman filled with a boundless joy and love for life. One day a bombardment forced her to abandon her house and her ancestral land. Together with her family and thousands of other displaced people she walks for several months to reach Cali, where leaved to their fate. They don’t have another chance that live on a flimsy shanty made of wood, plastic sheeting and mud. Through songs Paulina takes us on an imaginary journey across this beautiful region now destroyed by civil war where they can’t return.
