Synopsis

Based on my close relationship with my father, the Colombian abstract painter Carlos Salas, I suggested to him the idea of making a film about the process of creating an enormous circular painting. The artist seems to struggle or enter into dialog with his painting, until he finds his way and completes it. His work is influenced by everyday events of his own life and by the context of his neighborhood, of the city of Bogota, and Colombia, brought into his studio through the stories of people in his life…
