Synopsis

Corozo, Doña Omaira and Rosita have in common that, despite their misfortunes, they believe their dreams will come true only in Puerto Alvira. Like them, a few others chose to come back to the town in order to take the reins of their lives. Abandoned homes, barely inhabited streets, crumbling stores: time stopped flowing and a ghost town is left on the riverbank. In Puerto Alvira we see made tangible the daily contrasts between life and the war, the past and hope, and the absurd conditions that occur in a place where the Colombian armed conflict is present.
