Synopsis
Three Scapulars takes a look at the act of killing. Two ideological killers, Nico and Lorena, must follow orders to assassinate a former female guerrilla who provided information leading to the bombing of a guerrilla camp in which many guerrillas died.
Nico and Lorena meet in Santa Marta and don’t like each other at first. He is an urban guerrilla from Bogotá; he has never killed and is heartbroken after being betrayed by his girlfriend. She is a guerrilla from Santa Marta; she has killed many times and lost both her boyfriend and her unborn child during the bombing of the guerrilla camp caused by the former guerrilla she has been sent to murder. She has many reasons to be full of hatred.
Nico and Lorena’s relationship soon turns into a wild romance. They regret having to kill someone in such a beautiful place, especially after discovering that Indira, their victim, is pregnant. A conflict arises when they are forced to choose between obeying orders and their personal values. Killing a traitor is part of war, but killing an unborn baby is a crime.
