Synopsis

Doris, a young Wayuu woman, awakes worried in her hammock in the Guajira Desert. She has had a dream that she does not know how to interpret and when telling her grandmother and the traditional doctor of the town she understands that her cousin, who has died several years ago, is asking her to exhume her remains and to bury her again in the cemetery of the family in the High Guajira. This ritual, called the Second Burial, is the most important event in the life of all Wayuu and it is a process of catharsis that will cause Doris to come into direct contact with death, the world of spirits and the memories of her cousin
