Synopsis

Maria is a fourteen-year-old girl who spends her days wandering in the large tropical garden of her home. One day, a noise of explosions 1995 disturbs the tranquility of her garden. María leaves her house and discovers that on the street people celebrate the New Year. She meets her brother Rubén accompanied by her friend Adrián, who she hasn't seen in a long time. They ride a motorcycle and have just arrived in the city. Their style, their bodies and their looks are for Maria an incitement to travel and she decides to drift away with them.   With the desire to escape, in a search guided by the instinct of an earthly paradise, the three characters will discover the frenzy of the road. They will find in the exotic fruits and in the blinding reflections of the river the desired redemption, and in the wild and sterile desert a form of salvation.
