Synopsis

Jessica wants to find Marta, her mother’s best friend, who lives 430 kilometers away from the protagonist. In that search, Jessica - now a champion of female autonomy - uncovers her origins and unravels the knot that her mother’s death created when she was only nine years old. Through this search, a feminine perspective is built on how a patriarchal, dominant, unreflective, and violent origin influences the decisions of someone who has chosen to live an independent and autonomous life. It has not been easy to champion autonomy as a single mother of four children. During this journey, a neutral perspective emerges on the phenomenon of abuse and rootlessness in the construction of our society, clearly and transparently establishing the influence of environment, community, and culture on the early development of the personality of a protagonist who, unintentionally, ends up at the United Nations to deliver a speech focused on female autonomy as a way of embracing life without victimhood - achieving what she dreams of most: a fulfilling life for her children.
