Diana Díaz

Diana Marcela Díaz Soto is a Communications Specialist with a focus on Communication in Education from Universidad Javeriana. She also holds a degree in Education/Communication from Universidad Central and a Master's Degree in Cultural Studies from Universidad Javeriana. Diana directed the children's radio station Colorín Color Radio and was part of the pioneering team of delegate producers at Señal Colombia from 2004 to 2010. She served as the head of the Office of Contents and Viewers' Ombudsman at the now-defunct National Television Commission. Diana was an advisor to the Directorate of Cinematography and Coordinator of the Cultural Communication and Childhood project at the Ministry of Culture. Additionally, she held the position of director at Señal Colombia.

Throughout her career, Diana has been a television, research, and communication professor. She has also provided guidance for undergraduate, specialization, and master's degree theses, focusing on public media, children's television, and participatory communication. She has served as a jury member in audiovisual and film competitions at the local, national, and international levels and has managed strategic projects for Canal Capital.

From 2020 until September 2023, Diana represented the directors on the CNACC, and she resigned from this position to take on the role of Director of Audiovisual, Film, and Interactive Media (DACMI) at the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Knowledge.
