Rafael Loayza Sánchez
Rafael Loayza Sánchez attended Film and Televisión School from the National University of Colombia and went on to attend the Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC) in Barcelona (Spain), to study Film Directing. Later on, he gets a Master Degree in Script Writing thanks to a scholarship from the National University of Colombia.
As a writer, producer and director, he has released the short films “¿Por qué me llevas al hospital en canoa?” (2005), “Juancho el pajarero” (2013) and "El Cáñamo" (2016) whit financial support from the Colombian Film Development Fund. Co-writer and cinematographer of the documentary film "El Confidente" awarded by the Tribeca Film Institute Latinomerican Fund, NY 2015.
