Profiles: Camilo Eduardo Palacios Obregón | Proimágenes Colombia

Filmmaker graduated from the National University of Colombia. He holds two Masters degrees: one in Creativity and TV Screenwriting (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid) and the other one in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona). He worked as a video director in public broadcasting and as an editor for Netflix, Natgeo, FOX, Señal Colombia, Caracol and RCN. He has published several academic articles and edited books about documentary and artistic research. He directed the documentaries “En escena” (2006) and “El cortometraje sobre Max” (2017), selected in several festivals and the fiction short films “Mañana” (2017), winner in the 2018 Human Rights Bogotá Film Festival, and Permanencia (2020), selected for the 2020 Biarritz Amerique Latine Film Festival.
