Description

The Festival Internacional Cine al Mar (“Film by the Sea International Film Festival”) is an arena for the education of filmgoers, supported by independent film from around the world. At the same time, it is a space for presenting the audiovisual production of the Colombian Caribbean coast region and its creators. These filmmakers will be provided with technical and conceptual exchanges, oriented toward their ongoing education, with relevant Colombian and international film and audiovisual experts.

Each year the Festival re-energizes its personality, as shown by its innovative sections, the curatorial quality of the audiovisual works making up these sections, and its guest screenings. All of this seeks to diversify the views of our audiences, with the main attraction of screening the films on one of the most important beaches in the city.

The event is organized by an interdisciplinary group of professionals, with relevant support from several cultural institutions that enjoy enormous prestige both in Colombia and abroad.
