The La Truca International Animation Festival was founded in 2011 with the goals of strengthening Colombia’s animation industry and creating a space to learn and share information about animation. To achieve this, La Truca organizes lectures, workshops, and panel discussions with international and Colombian experts; international screenings; and the La Truca Animated Short Film Competition.
