Based on the experience of the first Jardín Film Festival, another meaningful, important theme was chosen for this second version. Once again, we will have a rewarding opportunity to discover diverse perspectives, narrations, and narratives on our shared experiences and the issues we examine at the festival.

This year’s theme is “With our feet on the land,” which will guide us in thinking about land from three different perspectives: territories in conflict, the environment, and traditional worldviews. The festival will have a main screening of 20 titles, plus the alternative sections Caleidoscopio, children's film, and indigenous video from Karmata Rua. We will again carry out a visual intervention on building facades and will hold an academic seminar with prominent intellectuals and experts on our theme. Beyond its value as a film event, the Garden Film Festival has a major impact on public opinion as a forum for debate and discussion of issues that are enormously important for our country today.
