Seventh San Andres Film and TV Festival

The Encarrete Isleño is the first initiative aiming to screen audiovisual projects made by talented young people from the archipelago of San Andres, Providencia and Santa Catalina. The festival features inclusive activities for the community to interact with the films though Film in the Neighborhood, a project that also carries out audience education activities. Another project, 72 Hours of Encarrete, is a workshop for young students on the basic concepts of audiovisual production. One of the closing activities, part of efforts to publicize the project, is the 72 Hours of Encarrete Awards, which recognizes talented individuals from the islands
