Unprecedented Colombian Presence at Cannes Festival

For the first time, Colombia is the Latin American country with the most films in the official sections of the world’s preeminent film event. Four Colombian films will take part this year – Alias María in Un Certain Regard, El Abrazo de la Serpiente (Embrace of the Serpent) in the Directors’ Fortnight, La Tierra y la Sombra (Land and Shade) in the Critics' Week, and El Concursante (The Contestant) in L’Atelier – along with a delegation of more than 60 Colombians participating in the many industry sections
