The Colombian Academy of Film Arts and Sciences has chosen Juan Andrés Arango’s first film to represent the country at the Goya Awards

On Oct. 4, 2012, in the National Museum’s Teresa Cuervo Borda Auditorium, the Film Development Fund awarded grants to Animation and Documentary projects totaling over 1.5 million US dollars in the second and final installment of the year.

Three Colombian films will screen at the 17th Busan International Film Festival and four films were chosen for this year’s San Sebastian Film Festival. Each of these films was awarded a Film Development Fund (FDC) grant
