Monos takes award at Sundance

The new film by Alejandro Landes took the Special Jury Award for Originality in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival. Lapü by Juan Pablo Polanco and César Alejandro James and Birds of Passage by Cristina Gallego and Ciro Guerra rounded out the Colombian fare at the festival.

Calls open for BAM

Calls for applications for the various sections of the tenth edition of BAM will be open until March 18. All companies, professionals, and creatives are invited to apply with their projects to participate in the Bogotá Audiovisual Market that will take place July 8-12, 2019.

El tamaño de las cosas by Carlos Felipe Montoya received the Generation Kplus Special International Jury Award for Best Short Film.
