Colombia was the Star at the 39th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival

The world's premier short film event, which took place from February 3 to 11, featured Colombia as guest of honor. Colombian cinema was represented by a retrospective, short films in competition, exhibits, a 40-person delegation in the industry and training activities, and more. The Focus on Colombia at the second most important film festival in France was fruit of Proimágenes Colombia’s ongoing work to promote Colombian cinema abroad, with support from the Film Development Fund

Final Awards Ceremony for the 2016 FDC Incentive Awards

The National Museum of Colombia hosted this year’s final awards ceremony for incentive awards from the Film Development Fund (FDC). A total of 10,479,500,000 pesos (US$ 3.3 million) was granted to 48 projects in the Fiction, Comprehensive Incentive Award, and Distribution (Alternative Distribution) sections, while an additional 2,596,500,000 pesos (US$ 821,000) was awarded in other categories
