The Spanish film directed by Imanol Uribe and produced by Gerardo Herrero, is a feature film based on real events that occurred in El Salvador, shot between Spain and Colombia. It is one of the most recent projects shot since the revival of the incentives of Law 1556 with production services of 64-A Films.

The 35th edition of the most important awards for Spanish-speaking cinematography takes place on March 06 in the city of Malaga. Colombia will be represented in the category of Best Ibero-American Film and in the category of Best Supporting Actress.

Colombian Laura Weissenberger participated in the Ammodo Tiger Short section of the 50th Rotterdam International Film Festival and Mudos testigos, a posthumous feature film by Luis Ospina, won the Hubert Bals development fund in the Bright Future section.

Bicentenario (2020) by Pablo Alvarez Mesa will participate in the Forum Expanded section in the 71st edition of the Berlinale and La cumbre by Felipe Gómez López in the International Online Competition of the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival.

The 33 IDFA -Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival- takes place from 18 November to 06 December in a hybrid way. Colombia has two films in the Luminous section, one in the Mediometrajes Competition, a project at Forum, 3 projects at the Bertha Fund and a short filmin the Best of Fests section.

Following the recommendations in the implementation of the filming protocols in Colombia, more than a dozen productions have resumed their activities, with 6 projects being implemented hosted by the Colombia Film Fund (FFC) which still has more than COP$2,400 millions available, 7 approved to benefit from the new Tax Certificate CINA, which adds up to the COP$11.300 millions that CNACC has available for FDC 2020 for projects to be implemented in the coming months.
