During the 13th edition of the Bogota Audiovisual Market - BAM, Proimágenes Colombia and the General Directorate of Film and Audiovisuals of the Italian Ministry of Culture signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen relations between the audiovisual industries of both countries over the next three years.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Hollywood invited the filmmaker to join the organization in the producers' guild, which votes for the corresponding categories at the Oscar Awards.

Accreditations are now open for the next edition of the Bogota Audiovisual Market - BAM, Colombia's most prominent audiovisual market, which will take place from July 11 to 16. Its 13th edition will be a hybrid event with a 100% virtual program from July 11 to 13 and 100% in-person activities from July 14 to 16.

Two feature films, five short films in the competition sections, and a broad presence in the market were the quota at the Annecy Festival. Two Colombian productions received awards.

Juan Andrés Arango's third feature film, produced by Inercia Películas and a recipient of the Film Development Fund, has been selected to receive support from Norway's co-production fund.

The Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival - LALIFF took place from June 1 to 5 with the participation of several national productions.
