Colombia in Miami and Fribourg

Three Colombian films are screened at the Miami Film Festival, while four were presented at the Fribourg Festival. Felipe Holguín's La suprema (The Supreme), a film supported by the Film Development Fund - FDC and featured at the Bogotá Audiovisual Market - BAM 2022, is included in both events and already received The Ecumenical Jury Award in Fribourg.

Strong Colombian presence in Toulouse

The Toulouse Latin American Film Festival had a solid Colombian representation, with seven feature films and seven short films in different program sections. In addition, two co-productions were presented in the Films in Progress section, and one project in the Films in Development section. Several national guests also participated in the 36th edition of the festival.

Colombia at the Malaga Festival

The 27th edition of the Malaga Festival ended with the participation of the films Golán and Hasta que se apague el sol (Until the Sun Goes Out). Golán won the award for best cinematography, while Hasta que se apague el sol received two awards.

Colombia at the Berlinale 2024

Short films Uli by Mariana Gil and Un pájaro voló (A Bird Flew), directed by Leinad Pájaro De la Hoz, along with feature films La piel en primavera (Skin in Spring) by Yennifer Uribe and Yo vi tres luces negras (I Saw Three Black Lights) by Santiago Lozano, represented Colombian cinema at the 74th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival. The Colombian delegation was made up of Proimágenes Colombia and more than 30 representatives of the national film industry. Both short films were awarded.

Colombian presence at the IAFFM

The 6th edition of the Ibero-American Film Festival Miami, February 2 to 10, featured twelve productions.
