Latin American focus at BAM 2024

The fifteenth edition of the Bogotá Audiovisual Market - BAM, scheduled for July 8-12, 2024, at the Colombian Capital city, will focus on Latin American cinema. The event will feature several sessions with industry professionals discussing the region's film education, production, and distribution. BAM will host a wide range of international audiovisual industry experts and present the second edition of the Colombia-Locarno Industry Academy, supported by the Locarno Festival, among other activities. Colombia at Cannes

Mi bestia (My Beast), Camila Beltrán's debut feature film and a beneficiary of the Film Development Fund (FDC), was part of the ACID section at Cannes. The film, notable for its strong female presence in key roles, had its world premiere in this section, which has presented the first films of many renowned filmmakers in recent years. Six productions participated in the Marché du Film, while Proimágenes Colombia was supporting the national delegation at booth 136.
