With a Special Mention from the Generation KPlus Jury for the short film Akababuru: Expresión de asombro (Akababuru: Expression of Astonishment) and a Special Mention from the Generation 14Plus Youth Jury for Atardecer en América (Sunset in America / Brazil, Chile, Colombia), Colombia’s participation in the 75th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival concluded. At the European Film Market (EFM), Colombia also took part in Toolbox, several screenings, the roundtable discussion “Is There Equity on Screen?”, a project in Pitch Perfect, along with four participants in the Talents program.

Two films were part of the official lineup, with producers Daniela Echeverri and María Paula Jiménez Trujillo, both beneficiaries of the Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM 15), and producer Valentina Arango, participating in the 54th edition of the event.

In the 47th edition of the event, Colombia had a significant presence with three short films in the competition, a Market Screening of the latest catalog of Colombian shorts, Refresh, a stand at the G2 Market, a project in Talents Connection, and a large delegation.

Under the direction of Laura Mora and Carlos Moreno, with new talents in the cast, the filming of the second part of the Netflix series benefiting from the Audiovisual Investment Certificates - CINA has begun.

The event's fourth edition was held from 1 to 4 October in Madrid, Spain. Colombia was represented by 13 projects in the Co-Production Forum, more than 50 companies, and discussions with industry professionals, showcasing its creative potential and positioning it as one of the most attractive destinations for audiovisual production in Latin America.
